Do note that the videos above use different versions to our copy of Catan. The most notable difference is the original Mayfair edition does not include a frame to surround the island, you build the ocean tiles out of hexes just like the island itself.

Notes On North Street Games Library Copy
Our copy of Catan is the 1999 Third Edition by Mayfair Games. It's seen a lot of use over the years and the box is a little scuffed, this does not affect gameplay in any way.
